The new spray dryer allows us to separate solids from liquids or suspensions into powder in an efficient and gentle manner.<\/h3>\n<p><strong>NORCELlab (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.norcellab.no\">www.norcellab.no<\/a>) is a national research infrastructure coordinated by RISE PFI and funded by the Research Council of Norway.<\/strong><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;33px|||||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<p><strong>How does spray drying work? <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Spray drying is a process used in various industries, from food production to pharmaceuticals and materials science. The process works by dispersing a liquid into small droplets, which then quickly dry in hot air. The result is a uniform and stable powder that is easier to store, transport, and to use in further research or production.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some examples of applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In laboratory projects where powder formulation is important.<\/li>\n<li>Making powder from juice, milk, proteins, or probiotic bacteria.<\/li>\n<li>Developing new drugs with better shelf life.<\/li>\n<li>Creating customized powder for industry and research.<\/li>\n<li>Production of powder-based cosmetic products such as face masks and makeup.<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing catalysts and other chemical compounds in powder form.<\/li>\n<li>Production of powder-based fertilizers and pesticides.<\/li>\n<li>Development of nanoparticles for use in various technological applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The spray dryer will be used both in our research projects as well as in contract works for customers.
