Manufacturing of lignin-rich nanocellulose
Nanocellulose is normally manufactured from lignin-free fibres.
In this project, nanocellulose will be produced with a new alternative process where the lignin is left in the fibrils. This will offer completely new properties and possibilities when using this new nanocellulose as an additive in different materials. The process will be scaled-up, and the differences between the new product compared to common nanocellulose will be studied in different applications.
