Research Scientists

We are strengthening our efforts within biorefinery processes and biobased products and look for research scientists with interest in further developing these areas. Our project portfolio is broad, and we work closely together with industry to develop solutions for green transformation. We are looking for candidates with relevant expertise for one or more of our research areas.

Typical work tasks include:

• Research and development in cooperation with customers and cooperation partners
• Project management/project work
• Establishing new projects and network building

We are looking for candidates with documented research qualifications, primarily at PhD-level, with interest for research in close cooperation with industry. Relevant background includes pulp and paper chemistry, chemical engineering, organic synthesis, polymer chemistry and material science. Candidates with other relevant background are also encouraged to apply. Good cooperation skills, networking capabilities and business understanding are important for the positions. High-level oral and written language skills are required, both in Norwegian and English.
