NordiCoats – “New biobased epoxy compounds for high performance applications”.

RISE PFI is research partner in a new research project – “NordiCoats – New biobased epoxy compounds for high performance applications”. The project is coordinated by SINTEF, and the kick-off meeting was held in Oslo on Monday 26th of February.

The NordiCoats project is aimed at developing new bio-based epoxy compounds for high-performance applications, with a focus on sustainability and lower environmental footprint.

The project involves innovating in the field of industrial biotechnology. This entails generating new knowledge, methodologies, and competences aimed at contributing to the green transition in the chemical and materials sector.

Through collaborative efforts among research organizations and commercial partners, NordiCoats aims to address societal needs for mitigating climate change and reducing environmental pollution, aligning with the principles of a circular economy.
